Hello guys I have a 04 G35 sedan, I tried putting an HID kit the one with hi/lo extra halogen light and the thing trew this horrible arch and the parking lights werent working anyways my question is have any of you tried the bi xenon kit with the retractible shield and if you did it still gave off that upper arch of light?

 

I can probably offer some advice.

The Hi/Lo with the halogen is a better setup.

The Xenon with a solenoid always seems to get jammed or does not always work.

You need one with a shorter bulb and a longer shield to cutout some of the arch.

 

I have yet to see an Aftermarket "retrofit" kit of HID bulbs that didn't glare horribly at oncoming drivers. Stay with a good quality Halogen.
