Headlight Painting
now I understand why all those (done) lights cost so much.
it's allot of work to get them done right.

put a tape on it and then peel it off
then you'll wish you have sanded it.
As I said, I'm painting it two diff colors, I need to be able to mast one up and peel the tape off afterwards without the paint peeling as well. So sanding was a MUST.

damn, all that hard work and I fvcked it all up.
painted with too much moisture in the air and when I went to bake it all the moisture that was sealed in the paint just bubbled up. Now I got to re-do the entire thing. Good thing it was only one side.
Minus the bubbles it looks good tho.

I painted it in the garage with a door open while it was raining outside.
then put it next to a heater once I noticed white haze on the paint.
Then I painted over that haze and once I was done all the moisture bobbled up from the heater.
Anywayz, I know I fvcked up, good thing I did only one yesterday so I'm gonna strip all the paint and do it all over again. This time I'll do it right.

Thats where the prob lies, putting it next to a heater. It shouldnt be a drastic temp change like that. Ideally everything should be done at room temp. Prep, prime, paint, and cure
yeah, I made a mistake by opening a garage door and letting all the moisture in.
This time I'm gonna crank up the heater in the garage and get it nice and warm in there before I paint, got to find a fan so I can blow the fumes out tho
Now that I have seeing it painted I'm wondering if I should do projector bezel in graphite to match the wheels instead of silver.
I do like the silver tho.
