Headlight question

is the side strip inside of the headlight supposed to be working?

03-05 headlights yes 06-07 no

then no, there is no light on the side, it was moved to the fog lights. when you have the parking lights on the city light will be lit up in the for light housing

They dont light up from the factory as you can see its just solid plastic . Heres how it looks modded
