Yes plug and play. They should already be aligned unless someone messed with them .

you shouldn't need a alignment since its projectors.

Projectors need to be aligned too, even more so than reflectors IMO.

As far as I know, you should ALWAYS at least look at the alignment of the lights. The bulbs I've encountered don't aim the same as OEM bulbs.

Even if you don't change the bulbs, even removing the headlights themselves may change it a little bit, so just take a look at it for 5-10 mins, it's not gonna be a big deal.

Do one bulb and install it and turn the lights on and see if they're aimed similarly to the oem one side by side. At least that why you can tell how off they are. In my reflectors for sure, after market ones aimed at the sky compared to OEM bulbs, I don't remember about my projectors though.

Not true at all.

the bulbs can only go in one way. They would only need to be align if the projector was misaligned to begin with. D2s projectors usually have little nipples holes for the bulb so the bulb will only go in if the bulb nipple is aligned with the projector nippled hole.

Its not like he can install the bulb upside down.

My statement pertains to if the projectors were previously aligned correctly then he would not need to align them again if he just swapped out bulbs.

To piggy back off this, if I'm upgrading to 06 projectors can I use the same bulbs from my old 03 headlights in the new projectors? IE use my fog bulbs, my low beam bulbs, and my turn signal bulbs?

Edit: nevermind, I searched the wrong terms, got my answer.

I understand that. But who is to say that are properly aligned to begin with? Just because they're from the factory doesn't mean they're properly aligned.

You said, "since its projectors." That implies that just because they're projectors means they don't need aligning. Next time, just say what you mean to be clear of any confusion.

The bulbs are technically the same, but the bases are different and D2R bulbs have a ceramic coating to prevent glare. You can carve a notch into the D2R bases to make them fit D2S fitments and scratch the ceramic coating off (just be careful).

Fog bulbs are different. Yours use H4, 06+ use H1. Turn signals are also different (you use dual filament, 06+ use single filament).

^^ appreciate it. I just found the thread I was looking for on it too.

I know the fogs have different #s of filaments, but would it still be possible to use them? Or should I just wait till I get some H1 bulbs in?

The fogs use completely different bulbs. So no. You'll need to get H1 bulbs.
