They should not cost that much. I can tell you what i paid for my Illuminated door sill plates and it wasn't $320. It was less then that and i got the Skyline Illuminated.

 

where would the wires connect to? So it would only come on when you open your door? Could it be spliced into the wiring from the light under our doors?

 

Where did you get yours? Apparently the thread starter is never going to get these made for people to buy and I'd like to get some. Did you have yours made? Or did you order them online somewhere?

Months ago I went through all the dead threads on this subject and found NO ONE still making these. Probably since the newer G's have the new style sills that come in an illuminated version (and no, they do not fit older models).

Sorry for the long awaited replies. I haven't had the time to assemble the sills. I do however have enough for 10 coupes. The material is Stainless Steel that has been laser cut with the "lines" in them. Ill post up pics soon.

Correct only illuminate when the door is opened.

Sorry bud, been really busy my job consists of traveling back and forth from east coast to west coast (home) I haven't had the time to assemble them.

I haven't made sedans yet.. I will soon but would probably only be the front doors.

 

 

I got mine from the at the dealers here but i am sure Strafe can also get them for you.
