Looking to go Amber or Yellow on the Fog Lights...

Thinking about mixing it up a bit... I almost never use my Fog lights because of the color difference on the 06/07 projector HIDs. I was thinking about doing it a little different and going with Amber/Yellow bulbs in the fogs. No looking to do an HID conversion... too much hassle and money.

Anyone do this before?? Anyone have any pics??? Whats the best Amber or Yellow bulbs to go with for brightness and life span???

I have PIAA Plasma ION Yellow 2500k Fog Bulbs. I'll take pics tonight although it won't to it justice.

i did yellow for awhile - then i went with 6000K LED fogs - they match the low beams perfect, but light output is hardly noticeable...
Pics - Nokya 2500K

I was when i had them - they seemed about the same as the OEM fog output

i like the blue/white color of the HID's though and i felt the yellow took away from that, so i ended up replacing with LED fogs to better match the HID's

Well, I guess I don't need to worry about the fog light bulbs any more.

I agree. I haven't changes mine yet but I share the same concern as above. Although, they do work damn well in the rain and morning fog here.

Hey guys what bulb do you recommend for fog lights that would match with my 06 projector headlights with 6k Hid. Im looking for something that would match my 6k hid low beams and also that would help with visibility at night. Im not sure if led bulbs would work and help visility or im i better off installing hid set on the fog ligths instead? What you guys think would i be blinding people with hid on fog lights or not ? Since they are reflector instead of projector like low beams hid.
