You may need to play with the spacing of the lens a bit, but you should be able to get a very good cutoff.

Better check them closely first, not all clear lenses are created equal. In addition, if the focal point is not spot on, they will be useless. Sounds like these will only work on certain projectors and tsx was not mentioned. They will almost certainly also require some spacing. Just saying....they're likely not a simple drop in but who knows, someone try and post back.

I just ordered the tsx r lenses from these dudes ^. From what I understand I have to swap out the lenses, but also modify the cut off shield. Does anybody know exactly what that entails? is there a thread somewhere that explains this better?
the diy thread in the lights section isnt helping much.
thanks

You can always source a projector assembly from wrecking yards...

I bought a pile of assemblies for $10 a piece, salvaged from well known locally made vehicles...... in both main beam and fog beam lense types... and little ones for the turn signal. And the internal projector beam shield can be modified to create a different upper beam pattern

Its then just a matter of retrofitting them to the headlight assembly..

You can cut all of the internals out of the headlight assembly and do a completely new arrangement inside if you really want to...

have a look at what i've got waiting to be completed... triple projector beams, SMD and HID globes...

dang what a way to bring back a dead thread lol
i have the color cut mod(TSX lens) on my OEM 06+ lights. I put the OEM lens on the blinkers. switched the blinker bulb with 12-LED. painted housing flat black and added leds on clearance strip and halo leds on low beams.

Nice! Looks like a good project for me to do during winter break lol. I just got 06 Projectors but I don't want to black the housing. I want to spray the projector housing part blue and run the same kind of LED strip on the side.
