06 projectors in 03 coupe possible???

I've seen it on some threads in which i don't remember where people with there 03 g35 coupe swap there headlights for the 06-07 projectors an not a retrofit. I was just wondering can you do it as just a plug an play thing or are there mods since there bi-xenon?? so instead of the 03 high beam an fog together the 06 low an high together I'm just really confused.

Please help thanks

I did it and it's plug and play, just have to plug in your current ballast into the projectors. That's pretty much it.

Is it possible? Of course and it's done all the time since it is one of the better mods/upgrades for the first gen G35s! Now you'll be able to see when driving your G at night....

Lol cmon, the 03-05 headlights aren't that bad... haha!

Why you're at it, change all the bulbs while installing. Like 6K lights and chrome dipped signals.

It's a orange bulb with chrome on it. When the signal is off, it doesn't give that amber glow effect. Looks clean with it.

I did it, completely plug and play. You just use your existing ballasts - they mount on the underside of the new headlight units. As I was doing the install of the '06 projectors, I changed the small 168 bulb to a 6000k led bulb and changed the turn signals to clear bulbs for a cleaner look. As I think back, it was definitely one of the best mods I've ever done to the car. Gives you bi-xenon, much better light at night, and improves the overall look of the car.
