Show Me Your Engine Bay LEDs

Hey guy's I'm trying to decide if I want to do some strategic LED lighting in my engine bay this year round. But I am a little stuck on where to begin. Give me some ideas and show me what your working with. Thanks!

I did it before but the heat always killed them within a month or so.

Are thr led's that can be around some heat? i mean the LED's in our tails must get pretty hot & they don't burn out...I think it's just those cheap LED's with the yellow blob on them (best way for me to word it) haha i'm not hating i have the yellow blob led's in my car but those are the ones that burn out right?

i installed 4 soft white LEDs in my hood to provide task lighting when i'm in my garage and to better show off the bling at shows & parking lot meets. they've held up fine for over a year. i know some people prefer to install lights all over the place, but i think its cleaner to just provide some nice illumination on your engine mods. if you decide to do lighting, i recommend you go that direction. my $0.02.

i'll snap some pix on saturday when i get my car back. nothing special though...4 leds flush mounted into the underside of the hood where it curves around the core support. the wires are routed through the hood and come out of a small hole near the battery compartment so you'd never know there were lights in the hood until i flip the switch.
