Interior light color change ricey?

I am thinking of changing out interior bulbs and door panel plus trunk bulbs. I am not sure how a blue would look or if I should just change to a bright white or cool white which has a slight blueish hue. I have also had a few friends say I should put led strips up under my foot wells to light them up but Idk. What are your opinions on this topic? Nothing blinding of course lol. Need to pay attention while I drive. Thanks

I've changed my interior vanity lights to a bright white, I really like them. Not ricey at all IMO.

white is not really ricey at all. i think colors are, but i dont care it looks awesome. i did blue smd lights from ijdmtoy.com . you can buy a 4 peice which replaces the 2 dome/map lights and the two door lights. then i threw in two 12" led strips from ebay (not a perfect match in color) in the footwells. for 40 it looks great.

then i picked up really bright white leds for the parking light in the tail lights and im gonna replace the trunmk with a white led soon. looks great imo

Pretty sure you can wire them to any power source in the fuse box that is 12v. Just add a higher fuse to it. Cigarette lighters are the most common. Wondering if the blue though will match the strips I want to put in. They are not royal blue more of a lighter blue. Gunna maybe put some in rear footwell since its dark in the back of the coupe. I am also going to wire up the back and fronts to seperate switches to inside the draw type opening in the center console so if I dont want them on while driving. Only thing is Idk if our cigarette lighters turn off when the car does. Any ideas on that? Now what did you replace the parking light with? As in what specific brand/model of led light? Have any before and after pics of it? Thanks

Blue gets boring after awhile. Pure white looks classy like a Lexus.

i hooked the led's into the dome light wire . it was really simple to do . search for a thread on how to install ccfl tubes in the footwell. ignore the ccfl part and just read read about the wiring. you just cut into two wires and then wire them around you car. took me about an hour to do both the front and back, but then again i am not the best or quickest with working on wiring.
il post pictures tonight!

That could work too. What I really wanna figure out is how to wire them. I want them to come on when i open doors(wiring them to the dome light does this) but i also want to be able to turn them on while im driving with a switch. Anyway to do this?
