8000K HID Problems

Last night I installed 8000K headlight bulbs. At first they flickered a bit but eventually stopped doing that. I turned them on later in the night and one of them went out and came back on when I turned the lights off and then on again. The only items to be replaced were the bulbs.

Make sure the bulbs seated corectly, cheap aftermarket bulbs tend to have smaller pegs/shorter bases so they don't seat as well as OEM replacment bulbs which is why the price diff between $25 aftermarket bulbs and $200 phillips bulbs is so big. I had the same issue and I switched to better quality bulbs.

Thanks! If the problem persists I will just buy some phillips bulbs.

I use DDM HID bulbs, never had any issue, the base and terminals are the same as the OEM bulb
