I did mine "bumper black." It's more of a matte finish and it looks awesome. More of a factory plastic look. I also left the little silver piece of trim that pops out the original color for a bit of contrast.

 

For reference on the matte color choice, here's a pic of my 300ZX. Its headlights are matte black straight from Nissan. So the matte is a much more factory looking choice, IMO.

 

Gloss black looks better on OB. Matte black for any other color.

 

So I decided to leave the bezel silver and paint the rest gloss black

 

I accidentally discovered something new while painting my lights tonight

Discovered that the chrome paint on the headlights turns into a black chrome at the touch of rubbing alcohol

So I gave a wipe of rubbing alcohol on the inside of the project bezels. It looks great
