License Plate LED Help

Hi,

I went to install my license plate LED lights and managed to unclip the housing from the bumper so that the clear lense was sort of hanging down from the wires but couldn't figure out to remove the housing to access the bulb itself. It was cold and started raining really hard so I gave up quite quickly...

I searched and it seems like I have to twist something to remove the housing? From what I remember there wasn't really enough room to twist the square shaped housing much in the space above the license plate. Any help/pictures would be appreciated!

Thanks!

So do I twist from where the wires hang into the lense? The replacement bulbs I have are wedge shaped so I don't see how they would turn. Sorry I'm working out of town so I haven't been able to look at the car...

On my 04 coupe, I didn't have to remove the bumper, if you look above your license plate spot, there should be those plastic coverings, I just took those out and twisted the covering on the bulb to remove it.

Got it, I feel like an idiot now...

The wires were sort of hung up so the lens was barely hanging down. Once I got some slack in them it was super easy. Thanks for the help!
