Yellow fogs on 03-05 lights

Anyone have pure yellow (~3000k) lights in their fog/day driving lights in their 03-05 reflector headlights (h4)?

If u do any pics?

I currently have 6000k in my low beams, and I tried to get 6000k for my fogs too to match, but it didn't and they still have that dull white-yellow combo the OEMs have. And I read that the h4s will never be pure white/6000k unless you get an HID kit

So I was thinking of putting pure yellow in the fogs instead since i'd like it better than the dull white-yellow the OEM fogs have. what do you guys think? I've seen it on the projector lights and they look good, but wanted pics for the 03-05 lights.

hmmm.. never really thought of doing that.. but looks kinda sweet.. my 04 sedan doesn't have the strip.. so it would be just the dual lamps and the amber turn signal... might be worth a shot to go with the amber fog lamps...!?

kinda has a Porsche 911/Euro look to it... hmmm

Yeah I painted my strip when I painted my lights, so it doesn't light up (or barely does)
Here's what it looks like:

6000k on top, and 3000k pure yellow on bottom, on black housing.... it'll either look good, or look like crap lol. but i just hate that dull white-yellow OEM color in our fogs/daylight driving light

do you have any snaps with the fogs on at night to get a feel for the color combo? I'm seriously thinking of checking this out...

I haven't bought the yellow fogs yet... my current fogs are just the dull white-yellowish oem color (even tho they're not OEM, I bought them from ebay after it said 6000k, in order to match my low beams, but that obviously wasn't the case). Here's what they look right now:

3000K's are so ricey, leave em for the civics! I did dual 6000K and it looks clean. Ima be upgrading to 8000K's so it matches my LEDs better though.

I've done this with my sedan and it looks awesome...not ricey! Imo, anything above 5000K in any light is pure rice....8000K

I really hope you're kididng with that comment... 6000K is white light, 8000K is white light with a subtle hint of blue, which makes it appear lighter... there's nothing ricey about white light bud... now if you go 10,000K or higher then it gets into the blues and purples. That deep yellow light is all you see on fartcan civics fogs driving around. learn your light temperatures b4 you talk...

I've got HOEN XENONMATCH 5500K's on mine right now... 6000K V-LED's for the driving lights.. nice match for the HID's... but traditionally.. BEFORE there ever WAS RICE... Fogs were ALWAYS AMBER...exclusivley... all the German and Italian Sports Cars/Exotics had AMBER fogs... SCCA Off-Road racers had AMBER fogs.... it's not ABOUT rice... it's about lighting standards... but the trend now for "touring" sports cars seems to be 6000-8000K projectors... so give the man a break about the "rice"... TOTALLY agree with you on the 10000K+ blue/purple thing.. how the hell can you even SEE with lights so weak in luminosity!?

jeez... ya didn't have to yell...

I guess I just see amber as more of an orange than a yellow. but, In the end its all about the individual, I'm just expressing my opinion because it was asked. if it is disagree'd with then so be it, he spent thousands of dollars on that car, not me. so I cant even get mad at what he does w/ it. I hope his car makes him happy though...

sorry man.. didn't mean to come off as being pisssed... just an observation... but in the end... it's like you said.. it's about what makes the individual happy with their ride... they are an expression of who we are... so give your "G" and extra coat of wax and let's hit it!!

Nah.. to many colors going on with your turn signal and such.. I did run yellow fogs in my 06s and it looks better since the blinker is clear and no clearance strip.. if u get an hid kit for your fogs it will match better.. id go with the brightt hid kit.. I installed one on my buddies car..
