Sorry, I haven't posted any install pics. They are installed, but I've been working on aiming them. And sections on one of the strips have gone out. Oznium is replacing them under warranty. I will post pictures are is but I've still got some stuff to work out. Thanks for the comments!

Here is the link for the LED strips. They are 11.5" but can be cut down by 3 led sections. I cut off 5x sections from the end so 15 leds out of 48.

Those lights are sick.. I've been looking into either (a) attempting to retrofit a set myself or (b) finding someone / a company to do it for me lol.. Anyways, keep up the good work.

Yeah, I've noticed.. About how much did it cost you to make those yourself? And one a 1-10, how hard would you rate it for DIY?

taking the lights off and taking them apart is a 3 at most. Kinda scary at first but no big deal.

Painting is a 1 if you have good control of your fingers and hands.

Running all the wires is simple. A 2 if you know how to crimp/solder and use T taps.

Accuatually mounting the projectors was a pain. Definitely an 8. In the coupe headlights the hole for the bulb in the foglight is off center so you have to make a bracket to mount the projector. I completely discarded the oem reflector housing. It was a pain to get the measurements and get it as centered as possible and still have room to be aimed and what not. Trimming the oem shroud was scary too. I've read the sedans headlight housings should not need cutting for the mini h1s. There is a thread here somewhere.

I'll have to run the numbers for the cost, but I got almost everything from Matt at the retrofit source.

Misc items came from lowes and home depot. I'd say close to $700 for everything that was actually used.

Great Job!

Since you want to add a chrome accent to the turning signal, maybe Retrofit source has a 3" diameter shroud that you could fit there with a properly fitting clear lens (maybe 2.5 or 2").
That would take your HLs to a whole other level!

Still, they look badass as is!

Thanks Conrado. I think the smallest shroud they have is the mini gatling gun or graphite gatling. Regardless of the shroud I'm sure I woud have to do a lot of cutting to get something to fit in there. I will look into it though.

On another note I got some new led strips under warranty to replace the ones that were burning out. So far so good. I will post install pics soon.

That sounds awesome!

I did my 03-05s back in the day with custom CF wrapped clearance strip with led lights, clear turn signal lenses, and satin black housing. I loved how they came out, especially as it was around like 08 and LED strips were just starting to come standard in nice cars.

When I swapped them for the projector HLs, I've always wanted to do hexa projectors (add projectors to fog lights, add mini projetor shroud/lens for turn signal just for the aesthetic on that one, so no harness or ballast, just the orignal bulb behind it since it's only for turning signal and not for visibiliy purposes), but kept pushing back the project as I had mod priorities that ended up coming first, and this is a costly project... I hope to get to it some time... post some more pics when you update them so I can live vicariuosly thru your lights

Here are a couple of installed pics. The I think I am losing some light in the lower projector. it doesn't seem a "full" as the the upper one. I will be going back in to wrap some aluminum tape are round the lens housing.

Here are mine which are very similar in design. My lower projectors are 3000K HID fogs wired into the harness. I have RGB demon eyes in each of the projectors which I still need to connect. Turn signal has 7W LED bulb. The angel eyes are DRLs since they are still very bright in the daytime.
