I just bought a 2008 g35x and found a headlight issue. My highs and lows will not power on. At all. Fog lights, turn signals and tail lights all work. I checked all fuses and everything seems fine except when I checked the fuse box under the hood I noticed that the H/L wash fuse was missing and had only one prong rather than two which the fuse sits in. I plugged in a new fuse, and still no power to the headlights. What do I do? I don't want to take it to the stealership.

 

If your fuses are ok now, then the next thing to check is the ballasts and bulbs.

 

Check your relays as well. If the relays are the same for the fogs and low beams, then swap them out and see if that fixes it. One of my fans was not working. All fuses were good. Pulled the ECU and both fans turned. Swapped relays and viola, the other fan kicked on. 3 relays for two fans, crazy right?
