You will need to jack the front of your car up some, so you have more room to access the wheel well opening.
click here this should help you out.....

It will take you around an hour to do both sides....

sorry, I lost the link as well, seems the site has been closed....

Basically heres what you need to do.
1) Jack the front of the car up a little so you can reach into the wheel well area easier..

2) turn front wheel in on side your working on.....

3) remove the five (5) black plastic fastners ( you lift the center portion with a small flat screw driver, then remove the entire fastner)

4) there are two (2) phillips head screws on the top of the wheel well fender lip....remove them as well...

5) You should now be able to pull down the wheel well liner from the top center....this will give you access to the back of the headlight assembly.

6) the bottom round cap is the fog/high beam bulb. unscrew the cover and you can get to the bulb....DO NOT TOUCH GLASS PART OF BULB.....only touch the metal part....

7) the clearance bulb is in the upper corner above the fog/high bulbs. it has a long black plastic tab with two wires (red/black) going to it. turn it 1/4-1/2 turn to remove the small 5 watt bulb.

Test the lights to make sure they work before you put everything back together again.

Hope this helps.....It's not really too hard to do, just take your time and use common sense.......

reverse procedure for re-install of wheel well liner.....

thanks for your help, will try to do it tomorow. I already changed the clearence strips. Hopefully it will be just as easy. To remove the cover for the fog/high beam bulb, is there anything i have to unplug or does it just twist off like the clearence strip?

can some one answer this? how long do the stock clearance strip bulb and fog light bulb last? about how many hours or years? i decided not to change the bulbs right now. i'm gonna wait till one of them burns out.

The stock bulbs will last far longer then the aftermarket bulbs. The reason people change out the stock bulbs is for a cleaner, whiter look. Why wait? It's a relatively inexpensive mod.

Your dealer is full of sh*t. Upgrading the lighting in your car won't harm anything as long as you use the proper bulbs.

ya i know what bulbs to use. i'm just kinda of paranoid right now on diy's. last time i worked on my computer, i fried it and had to get a new one. so anything electrical i'm scared to touch. i know what bulbs to use and i know a lot of you guys say its very easy, but i'm gonna hold off on it for a while and worry about learning manual right now. plus i already returned the ones i bought from car toys because my dealer said they wouldn't install them and car toys would charge me a pretty penny to do so.

BTW if anyone lives in my area and knows how to change the bulbs and wouldn't mind showing me that would be cool. if i end changing, anything, i'd like to change the H4's to something brighter and bluer. the fogs seems more practical than the clearance lights.

Looks like it's a mistake. I just checked and there appears to be only three black plastic fasteners.

Edit: Are those my instructions you quoted from? I just double checked my instructions and I mention five black fasteners as well. Did you take the wheel off? It's hard for me to see in there with my 19's.
