WET sand until what's coming off stops being yellow then move to 2000 grit WET sanding. Here's the order I went in when cleaning my lenses: 1000 grit wet sand 2000 grit wet sand Meguire's 105 (twice) Meguire's 205 (twice) Meguire's sealer wax (twice)
I'd advise getting them cleared if you went this far.

The other thing is that one of the housings is actually smashed up from when she backed into me so it needs to be replaced for sure, so likely I would have to replace both or they would never match even if I did that whole process. So again, do you think those housings I just posted will work with the retofit source kits?

If I were you, I'd just look for a pair of OEM '06-'07 projector headlights in the marketplace (or elsewhere) and call it a day. Buy them as a pair or buy them individually (like if someone only has 1 side and not the other).

I personally have an '06 projector headlight for sale in the marketplace. Look through the ads and you'll find some (not only mine).

My bad...thought you had a coupe. Contact Sexee350zee and see what he can do for you as far as retrofitting.

Those are coupe headlights. You can't use them

fak this is lame. so if you have a sedan with xenons you basically have no choice but pay like 1400$ for new OEMs, find used, or get shitty aftermarkets..

Pretty much hit the nail on the head with that one.

Just for the hell of it, have you tried wet-sanding your lights with fine-grit sandpaper? It does do a decent job.

I would love to but like I said one of them was backed into by another car, sand paper cant fix that. The other one maybe... I guess if I got one looking like new then I could just get a new one for the other side and it might look decent.

I mailed sexee350zee to see if he could recommend anything but not getting my hopes up.

Yeah, I read the whole thread and it just looks like an excuse to whine. Just get the aftermarkets. Whether you like them or not its not gonna change the price of the OEMS. Yeah, it sucks, but buying imported 'luxury' labels has never been cheap. Sorry to sound like a d!ck, I'm just saying, you've already explored all the options, so just buy the lights.

Or alternatively, you can sell your car for "X" amount of dollars, buy an 89 Toyota Camry and save a ton of money on headlights. Just not sure what your expecting to find when you've already gone thru all of the options. If you've got time, just wait for a set to go on sale here or eBay if you MUST have OEM, and just duct tape a flashlight to the side missing the light.
