Independent foglight module

IS there by any chance a plug and play module that allows for independent use of the fog lamps without the headlights being on first?

No wiring modifications, just a plug and play type of device.

I know I can prob doing it by modifying the wiring, but not what I'm looking for here. I have yet to check out wiring diagrams to see if it could be done yet, so don't flame if there is some sort of technical difficulty that prevents it in general.

Just curious

No, the sedans signals are inverted. Some people claim the module works with the sedan some people claim it won't work. I've never tried to install one on a sedan.

The Infiniti (and most Nissans) fog light control system is ridiculously complicated. The switch itself connects to the BCM through a multiplexed matrix style bus system. The BCM then sends the fog light status (on/off) to the IPDM under the hood through the CAN bus. The IPDM houses the fog light relay that turns the lights on and off - the relay is integrated and the control wiring is not accessible.

There are a few options.

Install an underhood relay (waterproof) and control it with an aftermarket switch.

Install the KPtech module.

There is NO plug and play type system for this, and there never will be as there simply isn't a simple way to plug anything in to change everything that needs to be changed.
