So not long after I bought my G 2 years ago the LED on the speedometer went out between 7-9,000 rpm. Now parts of the other side will flicker on and off, when they are on, they are perfectly bright. Also, the analog clock flickers as well, but when it flickers on, it's only partially lit. Is this an issue of soldering going bad, I assume LED is not like a regular bulb and just goes out. Driving at night sometimes is like being in a carnival ride!!!!!! Did not expect this at only 85K miles! Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Not sure this help you much, I have a 08 with 65k miles. My temp gauge LEDs are flickering. Haven't looked into a fix but very disappointed. Probably not cheap or easy to replace.
