HID bulbs on stock ballast...

hi y'all.... does anyone know if it's possible to just put a higher output HID bulbs on the stock ballast???
I'm thinking Philips 6000k... u think that'd work???

I know... just like the bluish tint of the higher kelvin bubls, even though the stock is probably going to be brighter....
btw, I saw a S2000 HID today.... man are those things blinding..... I wouldn't say they provide better view of the road, but they looked VERY PRETTY!!!

Also keep in mind that the "nice" looking HIDs are all from cars with a projector in front of the bulb. It looks much better with projectors, but unless you are willing to mod your stock headlamps, you won't get that quite same effect as Audi's, Bimmers, the S2000, and the new Benz's.

The 6000K look nice. I would recommend the Phillips Ultinon bulbs. They are the best but also a little more than the cheaper Taiwanese bulbs. I have pics comparing the two which I posted somewhere. I think it was on the Fresh Alloy forum though.
