I used the silverstars on my Lincoln ls fog lights and night time visibility was great improved. You can ususally buy the two pack at walmart or autozone for about 30 bux or so. I never had one go bad.

Really simple, just time consuming cuz you have to take off the wheels. I killed two birds with one stone by rotating the tires and doing the lights at the same time. And oh yea... FYI don't unscrew the clip!!!!!

You should have gotten PIAA extreme whites. More expensive, but a better match. (You get what you pay for at Wal-Mart...)

Looks slightly closer when you look directly at it, but output looks about the same? Stay away from PIAA bulbs for headlights/fogs. They'll be LESS bright than your Silverstars. PIAA Superwhites are even less bright than the OEM halogens.

I hated the PIAA if anything they were a waste and marked up at that PIAA = PITA, pai in the a$$. If you want a bulb that is going to go the distance get the SSs. You will save youself a lot of disassembly and reassembly time.
