Thanks, its not very hard to remove the bumper just very time consuming. your have to take off both wheel-wells (which means to jack up the car and remove the wheels, one at a time) then find all these bolts, a couple are kinda hard to first find and then get at. i did run a relay and switch the kit came with them. the wiring instructions were very well written and drawn out.

I'm an average DIY guy, and it took me 3 days! stopping to eat, sleep, and go out at night. i took my time and wanted everything perfect. thankfully i have a garage and another car to drive.

if your really work hard, and stay up late, and have all the tools and nut and bolt, it can be done a a day. just aim the lights when its dark.

It kinda does! Thats also one of the reasons thats holding me back from doing this. I already have dual HIDs hitting the floor. My light spread is ridiculously bright, and if I had foglights too... it would just be a super overkill lol.

Cool! I am thinking about doing the same thing with PIAA P 4000 Quattro's. I like the fact that there is a "built-in" stone guard, but what about cleaning them? Does the gravel/splash guard underneeth the car have to be removed to wipe them? Is there an easier way?

um... i havn't even thought about cleaning them yet. i guess i'll just wipe them with a rag threw the grill, or get my girlfriend to do it, since she has smaller fingers.

Really nice! One of the sickest Gs ive ever seen (that black one). Are those stock headlights or did you do something to them? They look really cool!

I finished the same mod earlier this week. I tossed the Hella H3 bulbs and replaced them with PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow H3 bulbs. Love the way it looks. You don't need to take off the front wheels. I would've preferred to space them as far as possible toward the outside edges of the mesh grills but something is in the way on the passenger side. Securing the nut inside the square tubular bumper frame was a little tricky. The Hella Micro DE Xenon lamps are nice too but cost $600-$700 and besides they're driving lights not fog.

Have you thought about cutting the grills and stick the lights out? Does the grill affect the light output?
Im very interested in doing this mod was it hard to drill through the metal and bolt the light on?
Do you have a night picture to show how much the light is improved?

hey, i have thought about cutting the grill out, but i don't think that it would have any affect in light output. i wanted to keep it as stock looking as possible, so if i deside to take it out then i won't have a hole there. to be honest the light output isn't much better at all. the OEM fogs light up the ground better. it just widens the light. i can take pics at night later.

Now put a 3800k-5000k h1 HID kit in there, and you're set!

What do u eman just widens the light? If it does little improvement on like output, do u still think is worth it? Was it hard to line up the lights?
