d4r/d4s will it work

Would d4s/d4r work with our (2004-g35) ballasts?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the D4R will work with 03-05 headlights and the D4S for the 06+ headlights. I think the D4 bulbs are mercury free bulbs vs. mercury vapor for the D2.

Again. Not 100% sure. Just putting in what I know.

From what I've seen on hidforum, the D2S bulbs are 3800 lumens. But, you'll only get the added brightness if you the the JDM denso ballast. Otherwise you'll have the same brightness, maybe even less of a regular D2S bulb.

Does not work very good. I guess Our ballasts aren't good enough for these bulbs. They flicker when turned on. Maybe not enough power to the bulbs.
