Question 168 LED bulbs for DRL / parking lights

I know it has been discussed before, but i just wanna make sure before I order them: http://www.sromagazine.com/shop/prod...oducts_id=7794

I plan to have them for my Daytime Driving Lights (DRL) or also known as parking lights. According to the menu, they are listed as 168, can anyone confirm with me that they are:

1) going to fit for DRL
2) long lasting, not like some cheap brand that burns out every few months

Many thanks,

Godmans

U wanna use these for the clearance strip? If so, you wont se them when they are on during the day. I have the blue/white ones and you can't tell they are on unless it's dark out. They do fill out the whole strip nicely though!

Hi Diesel,

First of all, thank you for your input. However, I have a Sedan instead of a Coupe, thus, I don't have a clearance strip.

Yet, since I am in Canada, we have what we call either Day time running lights or parking light that is running all the time whenever the car is on...(and it is a very small bulb in the High Beam/Fog light area)

and according to the manual, it is called parking light and has a part number of 164...

Hope this illustrates what DRL or parking light is...

Regards,
Godmans

Not in with Fogs!

I believe a LED will fail if used with driving or fogs ..... they can't take the heat. (no pun intended)!

the DRL in canada G (s) is just part of the fog light..
What I can replace easily is the clearance bulb (not clearance strip since I have a sedan).. and I will keep you guys updated
