Does the fog light still work, just the projector won't light up? I had the same thing happen on my drivers side. Turns out I didn't push the bulb connector on correctly. On my old headlights, you had to twist the connector to lock it. I couldn't get the connectors on the 06' to twist, so I assumed it didn't. Thus I didn't push on the driver's side connector all the way. I disconnected it, and reconnected it, and everything started working.

So you had the lights for 6 months, and it never worked? Or did it just stop working one day?

well, i took apart the bumper and disconnected the headlights from the body.. i then proceeded to pretty much disconnect and reconnect all the bulbs that go into the housing.. like i said, no problems ever since.. i swore i had a defective projector housing, but you just have to make sure your headlight bulbs are installed correctly.. when i first tested out the projectors, the headlights weren't working and that was because i didn't put them in right..

Do you have a volt meter? With HID you either have a loose connection or a failing ballast.

Sometimes moisture can disrupt output. Try reconnecting everything.

Swap bulbs. If it still happens on the same side, then you know it's not the bulbs and then work from there.

If you still have your old headlight assemblies, you could try switching ballasts.

I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable. Even though it's under warranty, it'd probably calm your nerves if you figured out exactly what it was.

Why don't you just change the ballast? Taking the bumper on and off/change of ballast should only take about 1 hour, going slowly.
