I recently installed the 06 headlights on my 04 coupe.All functions are working OK except day-time fog lights.(I am living in Canada,by law,we must have day fog on in day time,which are automatically turned on by releasing the hand brake.) I went to the local dealer to check the bulb models of their 06 G coupe inventory.All bulb models are exactly the same as the pair I ordered from US and the H1 bulbs were turned on for day-fog.I remember when I put all bulbs into the 06 headlights,I noticed there are 2 plugs for H1 bulbs,one is light yellow,another one is black,but I only connected the light yellow ones with the H1 bulbs.Is it the reason why the day-fog malfunction?

 

Hmmm... I wonder if the problem might be that the 03-05 wiring sent power to the high beam filament (opposed to the low beam fog) on the old lamp assembly? I'm wanting to get these for my 05 also. Where did you buy from and how much did they cost in Canada? Was there a long wait for them?

 

Thats werid i have the same problem too...My day time running lights wont turn on unless i turn on the headlights or the parking lights.
