1 Clearance Strip Needed for Test Fit...

Guys,
I posted in the WTB section, but nobody's responded. I'm very intrigued with the CCFL clearance light modification DIY posted on here already, but two thigns about that mod didn't appeal to me. 1 was cutting the clearance strip, and 2 was the fact that a curved reflector/lense was being lit by a straight light, so...

I ordered some CCFL tubes to experiment with, and I also looked into ways to make them fit. I was able to successfully bend one of the CCFL tubes I had in pretty much any shape I wanted without collapsing the tube. I'd like to try and test-fit a curved 12" CCFL tube into a clearance light and see if it would be possible to make a CCFL that can fit in the clearance light without having to cut the light, or possibly make one that can be a drop-in replacement that wouldn't require breaking the seal on the housings.

The problem I'm having is that i'm working on a limited budget and getting a spare headlight to test fit on isn't cheap. I don't want to remove my headlight because I'm sure the retrofit will take a few days to try and make, and my G is my daily driver. I'm not asking for anyone to give me something they can't spare, but I know some of you guys go through some parts and have hook-ups, so if anyone has a spare clearance light and reflector that they could part with, I would greatly appreciate it and pay either some $$ for it or send a set of bent CCFL lights if I am able to successfully fit them in the light.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. If anybody would be interested in trying this themselves, I'd love to see it.

You can fit 10 inch CCFLs without too much trouble.

Anyway, I have a spare headlight assembly that has clearance strip, the high and low beam reflectors, the metal bracket for the reflectors. The tabs are broken though, and I don't have the outer lens or bezel (they were destroyed in an accident from someone else). I'll sell for $40 shipped if you're interested.
