I hate my headlights. They are fogged up. I took it to the dealer, they polished it, and it came back. I made a thread saying how happy I was with the polishing, but now its back. Is this covered under warranty. Any suggestions?

 

i wouldn't know but i upgraded to the '06 headlights and will have the complete '05 headlights for sale on ebay shortly.

 

If you clean them very well with 3M plastic cleaner and polish and then have the headlight protectors installed (the ones that are the clear bra material) it will stay gone. I have not cleaned mine in months and my friend with another G that parks next to mine every day has to do his at least once a month. It is problem with the plastic that the "fixed" on the 05+. The new ones are made of a different lexan material.

Like I said, my dealer had some. ^^ They did it for me, but I think they also had some for sale.

Can I do the clear bra on the headlights my self or should I hire someone?

 

You can get it from most auto paint stores and many of the dealers have it because of this problem. As for the headlight overlays Bluebatmobile has colored ones, everythingg35.com has some for a DIY, or any of the 3M dealers that do the install will have them. The 3M ones are the thickest and best IMO but the most expensive too.
