Does anyone know what kinda bulb does the reverse uses? i was thinking about replacing it. Some reason that bulbs seem to bright to me..Maybe because my windows are tinted so its hard for me to see the back

I'd go with Polarg W2 wedge bulbs. They are plenty bright with even 20% tints. for DIYers, it's simple:

-Remove trunk liner.
-Remove plastic trim cover trunk latch.
-Remove 3 nuts from each light housings.
-Once light housing are out, the rest should be simple.

I jsut found some info about the reverse light..is it a 921 type bulb?

 

according to sylvania's bulb replacement guide, it is the 921 bulb which is not the PIAA W2... (which is 192?) but then they all look the same so... who knows.

 

Just bumping this up to see if anyone knows how to replace the reverse light bulb. thanks!
