Just came back from my Disney Cruise in the Carribean with my g/f Anna! Wish I could have stayed there longer.. sigh... heh Anyways... here's some more pictures of the consturction of these headlights!

Machining the 1" thick heat sink down to the size I need it to fit in the housing, yet without removing too much material to render the heat sink useless to the led.

Here's the 15 watt led paired up with the heat sink I machined to fit in the stock position

There's the optics for the 15 watt led

Here's the voltage regulator to protect the led from the 1000v spikes from a/c, alternator.. etc.. and from the flucating voltage that a car can have from like 9-16v and etc etc etc... led's in general are senestive electronic compoents and you have to protect them and feed it clean consistant power if you want them to last

Ah.. perfect fit and good clearance to the fog light reflector

Here's just a quick picture of the beam pattern from the led turn signal.. I have a video of it coming up in a little bit.. heh The biggest thing when going from halogen to led is.. that halogen puts out a lot more light then led's in general and for example.. if you wanted to replace a single brake lamp to those cheap 5mm radio shack version led (which you see a lot of pepole doing), you'll hav eot use approx 300-400 of them to get the same amount of light output as the halogen one. But the one i'm using puts out just as much if not more light, but in a very small packaging that's why it puts out heat, and heat kills electronics heh, gotta protect them.

Best Regards,
Larry

All I want to know is how you got the sharpness and the color from the stock projectors. I know you said you did a clear lens retrofit, but there's gotta be more to that to get the color. Or is there?

Hey Little Devil. I sent you a PM. I too would love this, and it just so happens that I have a pair of 06 headlights lying around!
