Skeleton_cru, did you ever post pictures of these in your clearance strips? I've got CCFL already, but I'm interested to see what these look like.

Thanks
Curt

^^^ if you posted your car specs in your sig, instead of stupid quotes from banned members, maybe you wouldn't have to explain this to people.

so, i didn't realize this - the Tera's come with their own resistors, which you have to splice into the positive wire... hm... so what happens if you don't like them and want to go back to regular LEDs, or if they burn out and you can't afford another pair?...

You're just mad 'cause you're mentioned in my quote. You've been associated with the "fegs".

Oops. So, when you said you have them in your clearance lights, is that the same as when someone says their corners? If so, that's even better, because I haven't replaced those bulbs yet. Pics still requested.

Thanks
Curt

Skeleton_cru:
How much brighter are they than the starndard bulbs? I am considering a pair for my reverse lights.

They can be used in the clearance lights, trunk, license plate, and reverse lights. I know these to be true on the sedan not 100% on the coupe.

No, they are two totally different lights. The sedan has a clearance bulb in the headlight housing, it's just not a strip like the coupe. Unfortunately, I haven't taken pics of the PIAA Tera's yet, sorry.

They are much brighter than a regular bulb. They look great when you have just your parking lights on.

They replace the 168 bulbs which, on the sedan, are:
Clearance
Sidemarker
License Plate
Trunk Light
Upper Glove Box

The reverse lights are a W2 bulb.

I have 194 LED's in my reverse lights right now and they look good, I just wish they were even brighter.

I had the same but ended up removing it after seeing how the stock bulbs were brighter. It did look good though specially w/ my LED license plate, but I want function as well! I might go another route for the reverse lights.
