Hey guys,

Just imported a car from the states and need DRL to pass an inspection here. I only need them hooked up for about 30 seconds so they can verify and then I can just disconnect them.

Does anybody know how to do a quick rewire of the lights? I was thinking of turning the light switch to AUTO and placing some tape over the light sensor .. but I think this would turn on the full headlights . and if the inspector goes into the car he would probably figure it out.

Any quick fixes for this

 

Turn your switch to auto, cover the light sensor, then adjust the console brightness to full. That way, even if the headlights are on, the interior lights will look as though they are in regular day time operation.
