What do you think of these for lights?

What do you think of these for lights?

I was gonna go w/ Piaa D2S 6600K but the cheapest I found was 325.00

These are a bit higher K at 8000 which will give a bluer look (I like)...

These say they are D2C which are a direct replacement for the D2R & D2S... Will they fit?

THANKS

I am looking at doing the 8000K below.

Why don't you just down grade to 10,000k halogens, because that's what you're doing with 8k HIDS.

Crappy light, HONDA looks!

^^Blah Blah Blah, Wrah Wrah Wrah

I dont want to go w/ 4300K to white... I want to Looking at the pix above the 6000K look aqua to me and the 8000K look more blue..

The wifes Bimmer (330i E90) has projectors which are a nice hue of blue, I am lookn for a euro look for my "G" not a rice look (although it is japanese)...

8000K to much? might just go w/ the Piaa 6600K then, I just hope they are not as aqua as the pics above.

that hue of blue comes from the projectors off her bimmer. sadly the 03-05 don't come with projectors to give that sexy look

Dude, asking questions is cool but why start 4 different threads about '06 headlights?

Edit: Sorry, make that 5 new threads.

Dude, cuz they are all different questions... I got the H1's, city, and signal lights on order right now...

I was just looking for some feedback from people who have done this conversion already to get some advice on the D2S.

They're all on the same general topic. I'm sure the members will answer different questions that might arise within a single thread. It just ends up cluttering up the forum. Just my $.02.

In response to your question, I just saw the Phillips Ultinon 6K's last week and they look great. I'm going to pick up a pair. You're gonna lose a lot of useable light if you go 8K or 10K. I've never seen the PIAA 6.6K.

Then I say go with PHILIPS- Ultinons, nothing higher. That's your best bet.

Nice job on the conversion! And thats with the stock 4350K?

Looks great...

I just put my order in for the Piaa 6600K Cobalt blue/white as to not go too blue in the 8000K range. My H1's will be Mtec 4750K to try and match up with the projectors.

I do kinda like a bit of a blue hue to the lights but going into the 8000K range is a bit much I think.

Yeah, 4300K. Controling hues with the shield and cutoffs. Light filters are BAD!!!

I even re-did them from those pics. A little more sharper, a bit less color at the cuts. But it looks purple/blue from across the street. Nice flicker. Not too too bad width.

I'm planning on a retro with the 06 housing, but haven't found the time.
