Talking Gonna jump from the G to the M

Hey there, I have been on the boards for a while and have had my 07 G35 sport since nov 06. My wife and I are expecting twins and I am gonna need a bigger car that is more car seat friendly. So expect me to join the club and begin modding an M45 soon.

I have 3 2006 M45 sports that I am looking at on autotrader.
-One locally with 68k miles @ $22k(mint-grey),
-One 90miles away with 56Kmiles @ $24k(mint but no contact yet-silver),
-and one 150miles away with 38k miles at $28k(seems to be mint, but its ivory pearl).

wish me luck in the process as I have never sold or bought a car privately before. I do have one question that those experienced in M rim fitments could help me with.

-I have 20x8.5 and 20x10 rims right now.
-Front tire is 225/35 and rear tire is 275/30.

How would they fit on an M sitting on eibachs?
The front offset is naturally a 40mm, but i can bring it to a 30mm or 20mm offset thanks to spacers. The rear offset is 40mm. Thanks so much in advance for the assistance.

this is how they sit on mine lowered 2" and the current slightly stretched tires.

I raised my daughter from infant to now 4 1/2 in a 03 G sedan. I suppose the question I have is this. Does the 06 M have that much more room than the newly redesigned 07G35.

The M45 V8 is nice, real nice. But the HR35 at 300hp is pretty nice too.

yea, at the comfortable seating position in both cars, the rear on the M has alot more room...and the rear door is bigger which is a must for putting in two rear facing carriers.

*just looked it up and compared actual dimensions. went from 34 leg room to 38 leg room. everything else is similar except for the size of the door opening which i saw in person is plenty.

I just noticed twins! So each rear facing would have to fit behind each seat.

Good luck!

For under $38,000 you can get a brand spanking new 09 and with a little bit of prompting possibly get it down to between $36,000-$37,000. The restyled car is around the corner and the leftovers are in the way. Good luck with whatever you choose as the M is a proven, quality, car.
