I got a buddy who just got a 2007 M35 and he's trying to hook up his Ipod.

If I understand correctly, the plug in the rear center console/armrest can play songs but you can only change songs with the ipod/iphone itself.

Does anyone know or can confirm that the connection through the rear center console charges as well? for iphone 4S? and for an iPhone 3G?

Also, If you want to be able to control the ipod through the vehicle, you need the USA Spec.
