C/F B-Pillars

So far my mods aren't much------ Aero kit, clear bra, and silver indicator bulbs, but today I installed some Carbon Fiber B pillar covers which seem to go along nicely with the Platinum Ice body colour.

Jason Burtman of Burtman Industries in Fl. does a good job on them. Jason B is a mod at F/A.

Soon I'm hoping to convert the 2>1>2 exhaust into true dual. Stay tuned.

Looks great Colin !!. Seems like you always have some new mod up your sleeve. True duals could be in the works for the M mmmmmm that V8 growl will be even sweeter .
Looking forward to seeing how the new CF pillars look in person next week.

Thanks guys, and here's a sneak peek of the constrictive exhaust on the M.
Shouldn't be hard to improve on this setup.
Monday morning......'TD' time.

That collector on the stock system looks a little nasty.
What system are you going to install?
Sure like the looks of the pillars.

Hi Dennis,

There is no system available yet for the M's, so I'm visiting my favourite fabricator and he's going to 'modify' that collector. A simple removal and replacement with a small 'H' pipe setup should suffice.

Lots of room to work, and easily removed (and saved just in case).
He estimates a 'happier' exhaust with a small boost in hp and tq across the rpm range.

I'm hoping that it doesn't attenuate the 'rumble' too much. A little will be perfect......any more than that is out of the question.

Monday morning should tell the tale.

JasonB makes some fine C/F auto parts, along with dress-up appliques, among other auto accessories. Good quality at a reasonable price.

Colin.

Hey 340HP, welcome to 'Driver and thanks for posting your pics too. I have them on my HD but didn't want to 'borrow' them.
The C/F panels look great on your D/G too. Congrats.

Just heard from Jason B. again, folks, and those gorgeous carbon fiber b-pillar covers are available for the G-Sedan now too.
You got to see these in person. Pics don't really do it justice.
They add a nice touch of class.
