I'm not sure why you guys are arguing. It seems pretty obvious based on Nissans recent decisions regarding Infiniti powerplants that the 3.7L engine they have planned will end up in the M37. It also stands to reason there will be a hp bump, probably to 310-320hp, whatever the hp is on the auto version of the G37. That said, a more powerful V8 will obviously be required in the follow-up to the M45, which wouldn't be very shocking at all.

Nissan clearly intends to play the hp game, they started it afterall.

(by the by, what is more interesting to me is what new technology this new 3.7L engine will have. The current VQ is a gas pig, and upping the displacement and hp without adding some technology will only make that worse, which I think will hurt them. Let's hope for some direct injection or something)
