i've contemplated getting a different rear but honestly i love how the stock rear with splash guards and a nismo diffuser looks more than any aftermarket rear

I've decided I'm keeping my Kuruma Z front. I like it too much to part with it and get a Nismo.
I should be picking up the SSR Type F's sometime tomorrow, but I gotta wait for the tires to come in before I can mount them on my car.

Perfect! Have any idea what your alignment will be or roughly the same?
The kurama will have better air flow than the nismo, if you plan on going FI its also better because you can have your FMIC, trans and oil coolers all up front getting max air

Everything should be within OEM spec, which will be a welcome change. Hopefully the car will handle a bit better once the wider tires are on.
One of these days I should go about changing my bushings up front... they're looking pretty sad right now.

Those were my tire sizes before I went stretched and I REALLY miss the grip an being able to take the car to the limmit on corners, you will find it takes alot more to get the rear loose than with streched tires

That's what I'm hoping to do. Right now, the rear end just doesn't handle very well due to my current stretch. And though I thoroughly enjoy the look, I'm really starting to get sick of the way it handles on top of my front fenders getting mangled due everyday driving because of my stance. Thank God I picked up two new front fenders already.
Well, that will be an issue for the new owner to deal with. And I don't think I'll be going FI anytime soon. Should I ever want to do anything to the motor, it would probably just be some kind of swap. But that's all a dream at this point right now.
What wheels and tires did you have before you got your WORK Gnosis?

Just OEM rays but I had 255/30 and 285/30 on the Gnosis but I picked up coilovers when tires ran out so bought a streched tire set up for the 2nd set, I am like minded with you on the fact that this does look good but just bc of the stretch grip is pretty nonexistent
3rd set of tire I want to be less stretch but keep aggressive offset and just pull the front and rear fenders to have something between the 2 looks

Damn you had some large tires on the Rays. Reading what you just wrote, I'm eager to see the difference from going to a heavier 3-piece forged 20" to a 1-piece forged monoblock 19".
