The wheels are to busy, and the way they were painted makes them look like bad knock-off time attacks.

HAHA!!! He would bank for that in CA!! In CA he could wait for a ton of GT-R's to be sold and then put it on Ebay. He could keep that plate even without the car in CA so long as he pays the 30 bux a year. He would at least make a couple grand for that plate one day. I have no idea what the laws are in TN. If they are the same, he made a brilliant investment in getting that plate.

There are guys in CA that purchase these plates before a new Lambo, Ferrari, Lotus, Jag, BMW, Mercedes, etc. comes out that and just flips them, making tons of the wealthy people that want the custom plate for that car.

^dude, obviousely you don't know about history of Japanese GT-R/ Skyline. I will try to explain, but if anyone out there know I am wrong on this subject, please feel free to chime in.

The name Skyline originated from Prince Automobile even before they were merged to Nissa-Datsun. The Japanese chose to use English when naming the car — as most cars made in Japan at that time used American abbreviation — to further enhance sales. The Skyline continued into the 1990s when it became popular largely because it remained rear wheel drive, while most other manufacturers were focusing on front wheel drive cars. GT-R Skylines of the 1990s progressed from the R32 (1989) through to the R34 (1999). Production of the GT-R ceased in August 2002. Although Nissan continues the Skyline name, a new GT-R was not developed as part of the lineup. However, Nissan later announced that they are producing a new GT-R as a separate car line, separating it from the Skyline nameplate. The new GT-R debuted we all know when.

11th generation of Skyline series is V35/G35. Skyline/ G35 was GT-R, but not anymore. They are seperate cars now since the debut of new puppy.

I put it same reasons as ppl who would wanna put gtr emblems. I giuess some ppl think it's ricey, but wtf...it's my car I do whatever I wanna do with it. I am not feeling the plate either now. Should change to somethng else or could go w/o one.
