hey guys, so most of u paint things i figured this is a good place to ask what ur using for color code and paint name while getting paint?..

my cars a 04 DG..under the hood there is a plaque that i assume was there from factory that says color: WV2, i dont see anything on the inside driver door stating color..

when i search WV2 i come up with different names besides diamond graphite, like silverstone metallic, sparkling silver and i beleive a few others

are the 03-04's diff. from the later year Dg's?

im looking to paint an oem front lip for my car and far as i know i just give the paint shop the color code and they give me the paint but i want to make sure its right as they are calling it something different than diamond graphite but still using color code WV2. As long as i have paint code wv2 i should be good right?

WV2 = diamond graphite. some websites call it different for who knows what reason as long as to have WV2, you'll be good

 

ok cool..thanks...i even saw it called pewter...just seems wierd to have all these names and be 1 color..

 

I've ordered touch up paint before and it was called sparkling silver but with the WV2 code. And it matched perfectly, so you should be good

 

WV2 is used by Nissan alot. Silvias, R34, etc, but under different names. The code is what is important.
