You've done all that and yet you chose to go with a roof overlay?

 

70 BUCKS...CF ROOF IS ABOUT 450??

 

Spend all that on everything else, but to cut corners here just doesn't make sense to me.

You can get your roof painted for $300. Yeh, it's more than $70. But it'll be seamless, the reflection is a lot clearer, and you can take care of swirls in paint but not overlays.

 

so what r u saying...i should get it painted...i have a body shop near my house that would paint my roof for 150 black..glossy...

 

So long as they do a good job, then that is a NO BRAINER!

If and when you do get swirls, you'll be able to fill them in with a good polish. Can't do that with an overlay.

You won't have the seams that come with the roof overlays because they are two pieces, not one.

The reflection is so much clearer than glossy black overlays.

Besides, if you screw up with the installation, then you'll have to buy a new one. Provided that Bat is an AWESOME guy and will sell you another one at a discounted price...but still...you will end up near $150, anyway.

Don't get me wrong. I think overlays are great. I have three of them on my car. But I just don't agree with roof overlays.

I have the rear valence and I am very happy with it.

If people don't have that nice of a hookup ($150 for a painted roof is a VERY good price), then the roof overlay is a good deal. Especially if the seam and install aren't big issues for them.

He said he had everything else already except for the trunk, but the pictures don't show the sideskirts yet, thats what I was saying

^i like the ings rear lip...i was either going to buy the rear valence or the ings rear lip and paint the middle piece black...but im just gonna get the rear valence...
