After 8 weeks my new lip arrived... and they sent me the fiberglass - NOT carbon version!!
This company has been such a pain to work with it's not even worth it... I don't know if It'll be another 8 weeks for another version to arrive or if I should just try to get this one covered in CF...
Pissed.

I'm toying with the idea. I wanna get my side skirts on which also just got here and see if it's drivable. Damn parts are too expensive to be so low, lol.
Might get some pics up. Waiting to hear back what the plan is. If it's going to take another 8-10 weeks for them to get me the correct version of the lip plus sending mine back to Japan.. I don't know. I might just try to get a refund and cover this one in carbon.. it's going to be a huge mess as this was supposed to be the first one in carbon ever made... and it didn't even show up carbon.

They are the Chargespeed bottomline sides. Sit lower than I thought and none of the mounting holes match up and they don't leave a cut out for the jack point. Not a big deal, but I just won't have them on until Monday. I wanna do it right, so I'm gonna work on them this weekend. It would be easy to just screw them onto the side skirt, but I'm drilling new holes and putting those pop-off/on plastic holders on the bottom to keep them in place and then on each end making a hole for the factory screw to hold them on. Should be solid this was and easily removable for jacking the car up or getting on the lift since it'll just be a matter of popping off those clips.
These should def set the front lip off nicely (old lip and new one).
Then it'll just be getting the rear completed... it'll match the rest of the carbon goodies

Yes it is and there have been translation issues all along-- more than any other Japanese company I've worked with.
