^and easier to do when I had the spare housing though I should have done it a lot sooner.

^Mike, the CF would have been a lot easier. No problem getting the mirror assy off the door but getting the motor assy out of the housing was a bit of pain.

did you end up removing the whole door panel to get to it off?

yup, that was the easy part. Had the door panel and mirrior assy off in 10 minutes. Took me an hour to figure out how to get the guts out of the housing even using the Service Manual PDF. Wasn't expecting to have have to compress a spring to get the wiring harness out.

lol, was wondring who was going to catch that. The bird sh*t just adds to the fade. I've sinced cleaned it up for someone looking for a spare housing to paint.
