+1, shouldn't need a tripod for these shots. Shoot closer to sunset or sunrise then slap a CPL on your lens and break out the tripod.

He needs the tripod. You don't remember his other pics after he ran three miles? Nice wheels and I like them much better than the last set. Are you thinking about spacers? The drop looks really good but I think the wheels need to come out some.
