I am in the market for some tire ... My G35 current has some Michelin's. Does anyone have some recommendations on what tire I should look into? I do like the Michelin's, but they were used when I got my car.

I didn't like Mich... I had Pilot sports that came new with my car... not all that sticky and when they got a bit older they made horrible noise.
I have been using TOYO T1-R since and I love them, quiet, sticky, and they lasted longer (about 42k miles)

You'll never go wrong with the Michelin's! Most are mileage rated at 240
which should give you over 30K miles per set and they don't make noise
like other brands from the factory. Tire Rack generally has the best prices,
but shop around! Good Luck!

I hated the michelins on my car. Loudest tire I have ever used. I couldn't even talk on the cell phone in my car at low speed and everyone thought I had a wheel bearing going out. I put on Toyo Proxes T1R and got better grip and they are very quiet. I used to buy Michelin car, SUV and motorcycle tires. But there are much better options these days.
