Actually, the whole purpose of this thread was to show the quality of the paint, but then everyone started to talk about my tints. I dunno. I guess I'll go ahead and update the title on this thing.

I actually buffed it myself back in June. It was an 18 hour job altogether (over the course of two weekends). I clayed and waxed it right before these pics.

Looks clean! I wonder how those eyelids would look on my DG? I really like them on your G they give it a nice aggressive look.

What kind of wheels are those? Looks like a Work VS-KF knockoff?

yep, they're the Volk knock-offs. I saw a pic years ago of a DG with some VS-KF in burning black, and I fell in love. I think only a small group of people on these boards have them too, so they're not played out.

It's never too late to give your car's paint a second chance at life. You can take it to a professional detailer and pay a couple hundred dollars, or you can do it yourself and admire your own work. If you decide to do it yourself, do a search for "the perfect shine" on www.autopia.org. That's what I did, and it worked wonders. Good luck!

JC-RH, quick question. How much double-sided 3M tape did you use on the eyelids? Thanks!

none. I bought the vinyl strips on eBay. Pretty cheap, and easy to install. All you gotta do is spray some soapy water, place on headlight, sqeegy down, and dry with hair dryer. Comes in different colors too.
