So I took like an hour and a half and sanded it down, primered it, and painted it black.. its not perfect, I'll probably redo it but its good for now.

Don't sweat it, it looks goods! You'll be repainting it more than once...The rocks are not friendly.

 

haha yeah i dont think i used the right paint either.. im not a very talented sandable primer person.. there are a lot of little bumps and stuff now.. the primer was smooth to the touch but the paint left many little bubbles/bumps so maybe its the wrong type of paint or I didn't do it right.. I only did 2 coats of paint and 4 coats of primer tho.. whatever :P you can't tell unless you get up close

Looks good, but maybe a Semi-gloss would look better? I really like matte black but idk... Need some pics from further away to judge

 

looks good but i perfer the look of the gialla grille compared to the oem. JMO. Good job though!
