Glex, I'm so jealous of this build (as everyone else is, most likely).

Question: Instead of risking damage to your headlights, why don't you just remove them? It's only a few bolts and you already have your front bumper off...

Figure I would update been so busy lately.

I pulled out the motor 3 weeks ago and had the engine bay sprayed.
While the engine bay was getting sprayed I was transferring things from one
motor to the other.
I started putting in the motor on Wednesday.

Thursday spent the day modifying the Rad support for the Koyo R Rad and
installing and double checking everything even got to start up the car and let it run for a few. I found that the hard line for the Steering rack had broken while pulling/installing the motor so I had to make a new hard line.

Saturday I made the new hard line for the steering rack and reinstalled my exhaust and swaybars. I thought i had a vacuum leak did a smoke test no leaks found out Cyl 6 coil pack wasn't totally plugged in.

Sunday I tried bleeding the clutch and coolant which I still have not finished (Waiting on some tools). Put some of the body stuff back on the car so I can have room in my garage to store the car.

I pulled the car out of the bodyshop that started the job since they don't see my car as priority no.1 and don't really want to do anything unless I threaten them.

Sourcing a new bodyshop to finish the car as we speak.

I will try to get more pictures that my friend took last night
and see if i can get a video of the motor running on the weekend

WOW.. .awesome build. Reminds me of the custom widebody I was having done on my old car. The bodyshop ended up getting into financial trouble... my car was seized by their bank for months as evidence and all they did was a little bit of bodywork and told me to come pick it up half ripped apart in the middle of winter... boy was I pi$$ed... I ended up scrapping the project since I lost interest... and was out a good chunk of change, parted out the entire car right down the the chassis.

Glad you found a new bodyshop!

I would love to get back into the showcar scene with my G. I was building my car for NCCA competition. Sh:t like this is right up my alley. Id love to work in a bodyshop that does extreme stuff, especially with my bodywork experience and prototyping/machining experience.
