so are u guys saying when u take cars out for test drives u dont punch it at all? u granny drive it around? these cars were made to get their ***** exposed. especially the gtrs.... they come pre-beat on by the factory. every one will have mileage on the odemeter from when they track tested it and broken in.

 

The plastic square on the bottom of the rear bumper is for......nothing!! its just a molded square painted black that makes the rear look like a chrysler crossfire....kinda ghey. I saw it up close at the "follow the 370" tour when they came through dallas and wondered the same thing. I personally hate the look of the car. It looks good from the side, minus the window thats smaller than the gas door. The rear looks like it has an a**hole cause of the "mysterious" black square, and from the front it looks like a catfish.....haha If I was following it, I would be afraid it was gonna take a crap right in front of me....lol But the performance side is quite impressive.

You should see what most owners would do to you if they saw you doing that to their cars before they bought them, especially if they ordered them. Show some class man.

It's for the rear fog-light in the UK market. Nissan isn't about to make different body panels for different markets.

not feeling this at all. maybe because I am getting older. it might grow on me, but don't think so. still think the older model looks better. if I had to rank in terms of looks for this platform, I would say:

1st - G37S
2nd - G35 coupe
3rd - 350Z
4th - 370Z

 

Hmm mine would be

1st G35 Coupe (06) yeah I'm biased
2nd 370Z
3rd G37S
4th 350z

 

REAR FOG LIGHTS!?!?! Thats just ghey.... Oh and its also a brake light in the Japanese market. So why not at least give the U.S. market that option. just leaving it as a black square is dumb. At least make it something functional not an eyesore. But its a nice improvement on the performance side, and some of the bodykits shown at the Tokyo Auto Show are SIK! They make the car look much better.
